Pre-Consultation
We will set up a telephone call - to make sure that you have all the information that you need and to figure out logistics for your custom family adventure. Don’t worry; if you need some help choosing an adventure activity or location, I’m full of ideas!
I will ask you some questions about the people involved, the relationships, and any special or meaningful items - all things that help me to make pictures you will treasure. We will also talk about what you would like to do with the pictures after the session, from albums to wall collages to family cards!
During this call, if we have not already decided, we can also decide what session length fits your family’s chosen adventure and budget - with sessions available from 45 minutes up to 2 hours.
agreement and scheduling
After our Pre-Consultation, I will send you a Photography Services Agreement with a summary of the logistics for your custom Family Adventure Session to make sure we’re on the same page! When you sign and return the Agreement and Session Fee, your session will be officially reserved on my calendar.
Family Adventure Photography Session
We’ll both show up at the scheduled date and time for your custom Family Adventure Photography Session! You will enjoy the family adventure. I will document the goodness.
Editing and delivery
After the session, a lot will be happening behind the scenes! I will edit & prepare the images for sharing with you. Usually within 2 weeks of your Photography Session, I will contact you to deliver a preview gallery of selected photographs, the highlights from your session. You select your favorites from the online gallery, and let me know when you’re sure about the photos you’ve picked - and I will give these favorites a bit of extra love (in the form of any added color correction, cropping, etc. that I think would really help the photos pop for your preferred use)!
Ordering Session
If you would like to order printed products, we can meet one more time so that I can show you samples of recommended photography products - and help you choose the images and the products that best fit your style, space, and budget. For vacationing families, we often do this via Zoom or FaceTime meeting, but if you’re local it is also a great time to touch the products and look at different sizes in your home!
Because of the custom nature of your items, payment is required before printing of your photography products.
Delivery
Digital files that you have selected will be delivered through an online gallery, with a copyright release allowing you to print them and display them for your family’s enjoyment. Beautiful, heirloom-quality prints and photographic products that you have ordered will be delivered directly to your home!

After years of watching my children stare at pictures on our walls and flip through albums, I am convinced that seeing themselves as part of our family helps them feel secure and like they belong, no matter what has happened the rest of the day.

These Pictures do NOT belong only on our Cell Phones. Kids NEED to see them too. Your images will be thoughtfully made, and are meant to be displayed and enjoyed. I use vendors that I have tested and that I trust to provide you with products that are beautiful and meant to last.

investment in custom artwork
The digital files that are included in your package are high-resolution, and will come with a copyright release so that you can have products printed at your preferred vendor. (I have recommendations, too!) However, there are some serious benefits to purchasing professionally printed, heirloom-quality products through Testify Photography! I will review proofs, and ensure that your prints and products are exactly as you would want them. Professional printing and high quality materials make a beautiful difference, and having the products delivered directly to you - ready to place on your walls or coffee table - saves you time and effort that you can spend with your family instead of centering a print or deciding on the right crop.
Because every client’s goals are different, all artwork is custom ordered after the session - so you get EXACTLY the products that YOU want, and you do not have to pay for anything “extra.” I will help you select products that fit your budget and your lifestyle, with an eye to getting products into your hands and onto your walls.
Although I allow clients to select exactly the products they love the most, I do offer a few package options with popular combinations of products at a discount. Many clients choose to spend between $1000 to $2000 for products after their session, and for clients who choose multiple large wall hangings or albums, the investment can be greater. However, I do not have a product purchase requirement.
